I started this Blog some time ago, but have not been very diligent about adding new posts as you can see from the past posts.
Now that we are well into 2012, I am going to try to do better and I have joined Daily Paintworks and Pinterest where I will be putting some of my new smaller pieces up. I have three pieces up currently and will be adding more as time goes by. I hope you will follow me there.

What an Honor!!!! I just learned that two of my paintings were accepted into the 2010 Paint America Mini Top 50 Competition and one has won the 2010 Mini50 Grand Prize Purchase Award. The paintings will be in the Paint America Traveling Exhibit throughout 2011 across the country. You can see the schedule and all of the paintings in the Exhibit at http://paintamerica.org/ . I was honored and very pleased that one of the five Miniature art pieces selected for the 36th Annual International Art Exhibit by the Miniature Art Society of Florida in Dunedin FL "Oaxaca Natives" won second place in the Exhibit in the Human figure category. To top it off another one sold at the initial Collectors Preview Opening.

I was very exicited to learn today that three of my miniature paintings have been accepted in the Miniature Painters Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington DC, 77th Annual International Exhibition of Fine Art in Miniature at the Mansion at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Md.  the show opens on November 21 and runs thru December 30, 2010. http://mpsgs.org/index.htm

Well we're back from Art Expo New York where we had a good show and met a lot of people. If you came by our booth, thanks.
